Yes there were villages/parishes that all the men who left for the war returned. These are called the THANKFUL VILLAGES.

Originally it was thought that there were 32 but it is now believed that there were 41.

For a complete list go to www.historic-uk.com and enter thankful villages.

What are some differences between the confederate soldiers and the union soldiers during the civil war?

Here are a few of the reasons. The CSA soldiers volunteered. They were excellent horsemen. They knew their land. They were very gallant. Also had everything to loose if they lost. The union solders most were drafted, or some rich man would pay some poor person or some poor immigrant $100 tp $300 to go in their place. They weren't raised with manners that Southerner's are taught at the earliest age. Not saying all were like that, but many. They didn't have anything to lose. If the North would of lost, they would of not be ruled by The CSA. Where as, read true history of what happened when Lee surrendered. Read about Reconstruction/Deconstrution. Also there were more professional soldiers in the southern army. As far as looks, brother fought against brother. Again I'll go back to my original statement. The Union had nothing to loose, The South had "everything" to loose.

Can you only upgrade your resources up to thirty on tribal wars?

Yes. Level 30 is the maximum for resource buildings in villages on tribalwars. Another way to get resources is by 'farming'. You can farm villages by attacking them with your soldiers. If your attack is successful, your soldiers will haul some of the attacked villages resources back to your village. Most people farm on abandoned villages.

What were differences between the English soldiers and the colonial militia soldiers?

The British soldiers typically came from the mainland UK (although some did come from other colonies). They were full-timers, who soldiered for a living. The militias were raised from local residents, who served on a part-time basis.
