Germany did complete one aircraft carrier; the Graf Zepplin. But Germany lacked the expertise to build a "carrier plane" to operate from it. The Graf Zeppelin was never completed because Admiral Raeder was replaced by Admiral Donitz who wanted only submarines. If Raeder had not been replaced, the Graf Zeppelin would have used carrier-modified Me109 fighters and Ju87 dive bombers. After the war, the submarine was still the nemesis of the only German aircraft carrier. Instead of finishing the ship for their navy, the Soviet Union used it only to transport captured submarine hulls to Russia so they could be copied.
Yes. And rocket planes too.
And they both shot down allied bombers. they had developed a jet plane towards the end of WW2. the most well known was a ME 262.
In the 1940s the Nazi German aviation engineers developed the first working Jet engines and planes. There were a few that flew in combat. Many of the jets they produced sat and were never used because the war ended. The US, Brits and Russians grabbed the technology and the planes. They also were able to get the engineers too. However, the jet engine was patented by a British engineer long before the Germans developed the jet engine. See related question below. Edit; Sir Frank Whittle was the first to realise that the power of an engine was primarily based on how much oxygen it could ingest. This led him to invent the jet engine and the Germans, having read of his design pre-war, lost no time turning it to their advantage.
The second generation of fighter planes were jet fighters with no missiles or complicated avionics.
Tanks that were still in good condition were used in the Korean War. Many tanks and planes were scrapped and the metal melted down to make new jet planes.
Overseas air travel was suspended during the war so the planes would not be shot down. The only person who could travel by plane was President Roosevelt (due to his disability) when he would go to to England, Casablanca and Yalta. Cargo planes were not used at that time anyway. They did not have big jet planes back then.
in many different ways German planes in ww2 were more advanced such as the me 262 the first operational jet fighter. the brits had spitfires and Americans help
Jet planes fly with the help of Thrust and Lift produced by the jet engines.
Jet planes can be of many types and some perform better than piston planes.
Jet planes are faster than the normal propeller powered airplanes. Jet planes were invented by Sir. Frank Whittle. There are also supersonic Jet planes. Concorde was the fastest Passenger Jet plane.
All collective nouns are common nouns. There is no collective nouns specifically for jet planes, however the collective nouns for planes can be used; they are:a fleet of planes (a fleet of jet planes)a squadron of planes (a squadron of jet planes)a stack of planes (a stack of jet planes)
Yes, jet planes are that - planes, whereas airlines usually refers to a company that uses planes to ferry people around.

the top ten heaviest jet planes are those that are used by the military. The C-17's are heavy jet planes that are used to carry heavy equipment..
It is a special kind of fuel used in jet planes
It would be impossible to determine the amount of jet planes that are in the world. Each country has multiple airlines with several planes, and there are always being more built.
Jet planes ARE monoplanes. The old model of Victorious came with swept wing jet fighters and straight wing aircraft.
