Why did Hitler enter World War 2?

Hitler wanted to acquire living space for his so-called Aryan race. Despite popular belief, he did not want to conquer the world or Europe for that matter. He wanted to conquer Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland and Russia. He successfully annexed Austria and Czechoslovakia without war. He knew that the wouldn't just give him Poland so he decided to invade it in 1939 cause Britain and France to declare war on Germany. That's how World War 2 started.

What telegram was one of the reasons that US entered World War 1?

It's the Zimmermann Telegraph. Basically, Germany was like, "Mexico, help us and we will give you your land that America took from you." Britain deciphered the telegram and then sent it along public lines to America. This way Germany would think that someone betrayed Germany. America received the telegram.

Why did the french and the begians invade the ruhr in 1923?

Because the Treaty of Versailles stated that Germany must pay a large amount of money (war reparations) towards the Allies after the WW1. For many reasons, Germany could not afford these payments, their economy, industry, and basically the whole country would just collapse if they were to continue to pay. The French and Belgians, being the main 'victims' in the war, were outraged, did not listen to the excuses, and invaded the Ruhr Valley in Germany. The Ruhr was Germany's main industrial area and thus - their main supply of wealth. This basically meant that the French and Belgians could get the money that Germany could not afford to pay them.

Why did Warsaw Pact forces invade Czechoslovakia in 1968?

'The Czechoslovakian Communist Party decided reforms were needed and appointed Dubcek Party Secretary. Dubcek's aims were to improve the standard of living and give the people more freedom and to do this brought in a series of reforms including less state control, free elections and the end of press censorship.' 'Soviet leaders feared that there would be further demands for even more freedom in Czechoslovakia. If granted people in other Eastern European states would make demands. This might destroy the rule of the Communist parties in these countries and in the end Soviet control.' The USSR feared that Czechoslovakia would ally with Yugoslavia, who had refused to join the Warsaw Pact and Romania and would no longer attend meetings of the Pact.' 'Czechoslovakia was too important to the security of the Soviet Union to allow any change as it was the one country which had borders with both West Germany and the USSR.'
