they didnt they loved them
Rationing in Britain during and after World War II significantly affected daily life by limiting access to essential goods such as food, fuel, and clothing. It fostered a culture of resourcefulness and community cooperation, as families learned to make do with less and share resources. While it aimed to ensure equitable distribution and support the war effort, it also led to feelings of deprivation and frustration among citizens. Overall, rationing reshaped consumption habits and social interactions, leaving a lasting impact on British society.
Yes it was very badly bombed because of engineering
Answer this question… It has resulted in fewer multigenerational families living together.
In Britain rationing lasted 14 years. From 1940 to 1954. In Western Germany rationing lasted 15 years.

I just answered this question on another question. See my answer on the link below. Rationing not only affected food availability it affected fuel consumption, use of cars, tires and even nylons. There was even rationing of antibiotics and other medications amongst the medical professionals so the servicemen could have the necessary medical supplies. There was rationing of clothing because they needed fabric and leather for the uniforms.
Badly
If you smoke 1.5 grams of weed, you are usually not affected badly. If you are allergic to it, you could have an allergic reaction which could be dangerous.
Rationing was difficult for the Britains because supplies were so low thanks to the Germans sinking ships with the supplies and food they so badly needed. Women really struggled to keep their families well fed and it was hard to get clothing and other needs. Lines were long and annoying. A black market developed and people would get things that way. They also grew victory gardens to augment the lack of food for the homefront.
