The way ww2 benefited US was when we was Sitting back and minding are own business We secretly traded weapons to the allied forces France, UK, Russia, etc then Hitler found out and got mad then the attack on pearl harbor then America finally after hearing all the country's cry came in and it was over in like a 2 year Span

The United states sold a huge amount of weapons to the country's that fought against Germany, these country's spent many years repaying the US after the war, The USA Ended up controlling Japanese industry for many years leading to further profit, and found them selves in the same situation with Germany for a long time. It ended up being the only major industrial power in the world that had no damage to its industrial infrastructure and that proved to be very advantageous for quite a number of years while Europe was busy repairing and and restarting their industry. The Japanese hold on electronics for example is the result of direct US intervention. The United stated stayed out of the war for as long as it could By the time they entered the war the outcome was already a fore gone conclusion. the only problem was that The Russians would have ended up controlling most of the country's that the US had sold weapons to. So they helped the countrys that they knew would repay the debt.
We had new ties with grater countries and we got out of the Great Depression.
