It affected the world by changing how people think about the Jews.

____

I Google searched the question hoping to find an answer. However, I will give my best guess. Since I'm Jewish, I think that it greatly affected the Jewish people.

___

The Holocaust had many effects on the world. It makes us think about how being racist can cause so much damage, and to never repeat this again. The holocaust changed people's lives, and had a long lasting effect. Over 6 million lives were completely destroyed. Books and films on Anne Frank help us to understand what really happened in the holocaust during World War 2.

___

Among other things, it has made racism unacceptable.

The Holocaust can't be compared to pretty much any events in history. It was a major event history and a mass murder which many events were not even close to. The Holocaust does impact future events in a way though because since antisemitism was so big in Europe, it reached various places of the world. Today, there are many hate groups that not only discriminate against Jews, but a lot of races. For example, the skinheads or the group known to be the Neo-Nazi Movement. This is actually one of the largest hate groups in the U.S. and growing at rate. We can't say the Holocaust cannot ever happen again because although the world is more prepared now then before, there are so many people evil people out there that can mi-mick this because the hate has influenced them.
