The American Dream has lost its touch somewhat since the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and America is now a well-integrated country; people in America no longer feel that they are part of anything unique. Outside America, the British and French intelligentsia consider the American dream as something to control the huge mass of people, and they see this with some cynicism.

Some people think that Benedict Arnold is important because he was a traitor in the American Revolutionary War. He was first a great general for the American soldiers but then things all of sudden changed and he went over to be a British Soldier because he thought that the American soldiers would lose against the British.
