The Patriots had advantages over the British, knowing the land and being able to forage effectively. They had more accurate rifles, used guerrilla tactics, and had a LOT of help from the French. In the end, the British decided that the fighting was futile and stopped sending troops. This did not, however, dissuade them from one more attempt, 30 years later, in the War of 1812, which ended with another British defeat and the establishment of enduring borders between the US and Canada.

The patriots did many things for the American Revolution. They not only fought in the front lines, they acted as spies, they provided food and clothing. They also provided money to keep the army going.

well the patriots tried convincing the Indians to stay neutral and don't help the british.

Also, the American Indians willingly helped patriots fight, because after the war, they would be granted freedom

hope that helps ^^

During the Revolutionary War, patriots were responsible for fighting for the rights of American colonists. Patriots were also the politicians of the day.
