In World War One, the soldiers survived by digging up trenches. Trenches are holes dug in the ground, sort of how worms dig into the ground but bigger. These trenches were what they lived in for 4 straight years.

The Germans accidently bit a mongoose causing another war on the southern front. This war inflated the German economy and thus caused the defeat of the other people.
