It is probably meaningless to try to quantify or compare degrees of insanity. Every case is different.

That being said, it is possible that Hitler did not have any specific mental pathology. He held a number of delusional beliefs, and he was certainly hateful, malicious, vindictive, paranoid and enormously conceited, but many modern psychologists and biographers do not believe that he was mentally ill. He did exhibit symptoms of Parkinsons Disease near the end of his life, but that is clearly not relevant.

In fact, many people would argue that one of the things that makes Hitler and people like him so dangerous is that they are not insane. The German people elected him because he made sense at the time. A leader like Hitler can arise any time that people are willing to vote for politicians who would take away personal freedoms "for the good of society".
