On the contrary, the world united. The United Nations was created in order to keep peace better.

It replaced the previous League of Nations, which was utterly useless. And the United Nations has been very effective. There has not been a war to that magnitude or even close since.

Germany got split in two. The Russians or USSR control the east side however the Americans controlled the west. Well, so many people were leaving East Germany and came to West Germany and the USSR didn't like this so built a 6-foot wall dividing Berlin in one night. after so many years of families not seeing each other people get killed for trying to get over. President Ronald Reagan made his famous speech "Tear down the Berlin Wall", and after that Berlin was joined together and all the other countries was not divided like Berlin. Hey I'm a 11 year old boy, you got to do better than this.
