There were example were "air fleets" cripiled sea going fleets but most of the time the fleets were ambused to overcofidence, ex. Pear Harbor or had improper defeinces ex Price of Wales. History has shown that if a nation is willing to comit seriour effort to air defeances naval fleets can acheive "air surpramcy." a good example is the end of war battles in the pacific were the U.S. Navy acheived a 99-100 AA Gun Kill ratio with procmity fuse shells, or the Admerial Schneeir Raid were only two minor hits were scored and one British Bomber survied. If fleets were willing to invest in defenses and take air power seriosly naval power could be useful.

What individual or factor played a major role in the development of the air service and the air corps during the interwar years?

One of the most influential figures in the development of air service and the air corps during the interwar years was General Billy Mitchell. He was a strong advocate for the importance of air power in modern warfare, famously arguing for the establishment of an independent air force. Mitchell's demonstrations of aerial capability and his outspoken criticism of military leadership helped to shift perceptions of air power, leading to significant advancements in military aviation and the eventual formation of the U.S. Air Force. His efforts laid the groundwork for the strategic role of air power in World War II and beyond.

What was War In the air World War I?

World War 1 was the first war that had combat take place in the air. Biplanes brought German and Allied pilots into combat in the air. German technology had the advantage as the guns attached to their planes held more ammunition and were less likely to missfire. (I need a little more time to find the resource to back that up but that is my recollection of my research.)

Why is tank size important when choosing an air compressor?

How did air power change warfare during World War 2?

Although airplanes changed from cloth covered wooden airplanes of WWI into metal airplanes of WWII, as well as more advanced and powerful bombers; the real change was "Naval Warfare." Air power completely eliminated the mighty battleship as a decisive naval weapon. Airplanes (launched from aircraft carriers) became the new naval weapon. WWII may be unique in that it was the only war in history in which aircraft carriers fought aircraft carriers.

What will happen if you connect a chip to your Mazda mx3 iat sensor?

It will change the resistance of the signal, so that the computer will think its reading a different ammount of air, the result is a worse melange of air / fuel. You will probably consume more fuel.... but will have less power. The reason is that people think more fuel = more power, but they are wrong, to get more power, you will need more air.
