Yes, the North Vietnamese were using gigantic crossbows to take out helicopters. The Vietnamese guerrilla unit(s) also used crossbows in Vietnam, as they were silent, accurate and deadly, and allowed one to pick off the last guy in line without alerting the rest, maybe taking out three or four before anyone was the wiser.

Possibly by guerilla forces, but not established armies (the last confirmed kill with bow and arrow was at Dunkirk 1940)

Yes, the American special forces used them to take out sentries because of the silence and accuracy a crossbow offers to a trained user.

What weapons did the blackfoot use?

Blackfoot Indians used spears, tomahawks, bow and arrows, the war club, and the dagger. The tomahawk and the dagger were used for hunting and fights. But the war club was used just for wars. The bow and arrow were used mostly for hunting buffalo. The Blackfoot would ride up very close on their horses and shoot an arrow into the buffalo. If the arrow was still sticking out the side of the buffalo, the rider would grab the arrow and fire it at the buffalo again. THANKS FOR READING
