The Third Reich started out with Germany, then Germany annexed Austria into Greater Germany in the Anschluss of March 12, 1938. Germany annexed the Sudetenland between October 1, and October 10, 1938 into Greater Germany. This was an area of Czechoslovakia of ethnic Germans. All the above territory was considered to be Germany. Hitler referred to Germany under his regime as the Third Reich. He wanted to create a new government that would rule Europe for 1000 years. The five countries that declared war on Napoleon were Britain, Russia, Austria, Prussia, and Sweden. These nations formed various coalitions to oppose Napoleon's expansion across Europe during the Napoleonic Wars. Each country had its own motives, including territorial ambitions and the desire to restore the balance of power in Europe. Their combined efforts ultimately contributed to Napoleon's defeat and the restoration of the Bourbon monarchy in France.
Learning military history fills in the gaps of the history you have learned. It explains how America was formed or how Germany was officially called Germany as a country. It was previously numerous principalities that littered the land and wasn't called Germany until after the Franco-Prussian War. It also explains how the sacrifices of those who do serve shape countries as well as how it preserves the freedoms we hold on to. By not learning military history, you are scratching the surface of what history has to offer.
The Allied Nations primarily consisted of the United States, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, and China during World War II. Other countries, including France, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and numerous nations from Europe and Asia, also joined the Allies against the Axis powers. The coalition was formed in response to the aggression of Germany, Italy, and Japan. Together, these nations worked to defeat the Axis forces and restore peace.
