Ultimately the German government required that Jews leave German society. There would be many stages and steps before this happened; first the Jews would have to leave certain jobs, like the civil service, they would be encouraged to emigrate, to leave the country of their own accord and eventually those remaining would be deported.
set up by Hitler to persuade the German's to riot against the Jews to kill them all
Italian soldiers had nothing to do with the Jews in World War II. The Italian government did not persecute the Jews during World War II. The Italian Jews were not transported to concentration camps until 1943 when the Italians turned against the Nazis and joined the Allies. When the Germans took over, they sent the Italian Jews to concentration camps. One of the most famous Italian Jews was Primo Levi who was sent to Auschwitz where he worked in the Monowitz labor camp. He was arrested as a partisan who was fighting with the Allies. Added: The German Nazis tried mostly unsuccessfully to get the Italian fascist government of Mussolini to ship Italy's Jews to German death camps. Mussolini & his government resisted. This is a major difference in policy between the Italian government and that of Germany, which is a good thing. Contrast this with the behavior of Vichy France: The Vichy French government enthusiastically embraced the German request to ship Jews to death camps, and added their own levels of persecution on the Jewish population in southern (Vichy) France.
Hitler used the Jews and other sections of society as scapegoats, blaming all the problems on them. To Germans at the time Hitler made sense, he united everyone by providing explanations for Germany's problems.
From 1938 on the passports of German Jews were stamped with a large red J.

They required them to leave. Jews were banned from many places and eventually deported.
they germans told their own society jews who were at the camp that they were allowed to be set free. however, there were requirements. if you were a jew attending the deadly camps, and your name was not sean (hypebeast) corry you were allowed to leave, however if it was sean (hypebeast) corry, than you were just extremely out of luck.

Yes, sadly, they did. They were German Jews, but they were put in for being German. It was just sad and ironic that they happened to be Jewish.
The German government wanted to create the impression that the German people were unhappy with the Jews. The purported reason was that the German people were unhappy with the assassination of a German diplomat by a Jew.
