The first rank takes 2 steps forward and conducts a dress right dress (normal interval, unless commanded to do so at close interval), the second rank takes one step forward and conducts dress right dress, the 3rd rank stands fast and conducts dress right dress. If there are more then 3 ranks then they take 2, 4, and 6 steps backwards and conducts dress right dress. (4th ranks takes 2 steps backwards, 5th ranks takes 4 steps backwards and 6th rank takes 6 steps backwards)
