Militarisum refers to government policysocietal organisation that creates a largeand powerful armed forces to agressively defend the country from both domestic and foriegn enimies. Real and precived.

To acomplish this militarists often glorify the ideals of a military class, such as duty to the state, a social hiearchy where the military occupies a prominent place in the political and administrative system, observance of tradition, honor, patriotisum and the honorification of past conflicts.

Militarist countries often are very nationalistic and undemocratic often gaining power in the form of a coup.

Examples of states considered militaristic: The People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), fascist Italy and Israel.
