I was interested by this too. She does seem to get quite badly done over considering. Anyway, wikipedia says she loses her other arm in the interrogation as this is shown in the Japanese version. To be honest, I think she gets whatever you want her to, I imagined her as losing arms and legs as it's unlikely she'd withhold answers only once, and in the scene with Bill at the end of Vol.1, she looks like she's sitting in a wheelchair (upright upper body so not in bed, but much lower than Bill who is standing above her) so this suggests lack of working legs. Either way, when she's rolled down the hill to the hospital she has one arm left so this would appear to be a continuity error taking the Japanese version into account.
