The Great War (called WW1 after WW2) would have probably ended a year or two after it did in 1918. The US only fought in for one year (1917 to 1918). The Germans were already exhausted...and the war did end by an Armistice (truce); so it probably would've ended by an Armistice in 1919 instead of 1918.
