There were many other groups that had people killed by Hitler and the Nazis, but the Holocaust was the specific actions against the Jews, therefore there were no other groups killed in the Holocaust. The only other group which suffered similar persecution to the Jews was the gypsies.
Why did genocide occur in Sudan?
Sudan is an example of Genocide in 21st Century. It happened after almost 6 decades after 2nd world war and Holoucast of the Jews by Nazi Germany.When after world war II, leaders all over the world are doing so much for peace, try to avoid war, ethnic conflicts. Now a genocide occured in Darfur. African brother killing African. Muslims killing Muslim. And a state President (Umr al Bashir) sponsors it with Janjaweed Militants. As a result many were killed (95% peaceful, innocent people), million displaced (flew to Chad, basically). And we just watch. UN didn;t recognise the killing as Genocide. US people did a lot, but not the Government. But in the EYES of the CONCIOUS PEOPLE all over the world. Its a killing, a massacre, its a Genocide.
What caused Hitler to hate Jews and homosexuals the most?
The holoucast wasn't about Hitler hating the Jews or Jehovahs Witness or homosexuals or anyone else. He blamed all of Germanys problems (losing World War One, bad economy, other countries hating Germany, low national pride) on groups of people that Germany would go along with hating. The Jews were the biggest target because the bible blames the Jews for turning Christ over to the Romans. They were also stereotyped as wealthy, money-hogging people. Becuase of the bad economy, many Germans were very, very poor, and Hitler blamed the Jews, saying they were taking and hoarding all the money, leaving Germans to die. The German population wanted to believe this. This was entirely untrue, but it started the discrimination against Jews. Hitler used this hatred to gain power, IE saying 'Vote for me, I'll take care off the Jews'. Once he WAS in power, and the Nazi political party had complete majority, he passed all sorts of laws making himself dictator. It all went downhill from there. :'( As far as homosexuals go, well, they got hated on all the time. Like the Jews, there was a general mistrust of homosexuals. He played on this as well to gain power. It's generally believed that Hitler himself didn't hate Jews in particular, but only used them to gain power, to accomplish his main goal, making the perfect race.
