What is the best army base in the US?

i personally liked Ft. Hood. i was there once as a military wife. and also as a soldier myself. the cost of living was great. we paid like 695 for a 3 bedroom 2 full bath townhome. killeen the city ft. hood is in is very small. but every major city is 2-3 hours away. if ft.hood didnt deploy so much i would be there now.

Killeen is a dump, and Ft hood deploys all the time. Ft hood wouldnt even be in the top 10 best army bases

Here's a few that give you great location with very good overall quality of life. Ft shafter is in honolulu and hardly ever deploys. Ft mcnair is in DC and hardly ever deploys, and has everything you could ever dream of as you get outside the gate. Ft Carson is probably the most beautiful base in the US, To be surrounded by the rocky mountains in Colorado spriongs is for most soldiers a dream, They've taken this base off the pcs automatic list as too many soldiers try to transfer here.
