The murdering ended (in most cases) when the camps were liberated by the Allies. The actual dates varied from camp to camp, and in some cases as the Allies approached some of the prisoners were taken on death marches. In some parts of Poland, the local (Polish) population continued to murder Jews for some months after the war!
People love 'exact dates'. The last camp to be liberated was Stutthof (near Danzig) on 9 May 1945. (The war in Europe ended on May 8th 1945).
The various camps were liberated on different dates. Majdanek was the first major camp to be liberated (on 22 July 1944, by the Soviet Army) but the Holocaust continued at other camps.
I don't think one can name an exact date for when this ended because the people that underwent the suffering and abuse did not stop suffering on any given date for many the pain went on permanently. Remember there were many people other than Jews that were also entered and murdered in these camps.
December 25, 1991 is the day Gorbachev resigned and the Soviet Union basically ceased to exist, thus ending the Cold War. Of course, this date is debatable.
The Holocaust started from January 30, 1933 when Adolf Hitler became chancellor of Germany to May 8, 1945 when the war in Europe (World War 2) ended.____No, those are the dates of the Nazi period in Germany. The Holocaust refers to a specific program of extermination which began in June 1941 and lasted till the end of the war.
The American government had no direct effect on the Holocaust. Obviously, the defeat of Nazi Germany by the Allies ended the genocide. I wonder if you are mistakenly equating the Holocaust with World War 2.
The holocaust began on Dec.8, 1941 in Chelmno and ended on May 9, 1945.___The Holocaust took place from 1941 to 1945. Under Adolf Hitler. After Hitler's armies began to take over neighboring countries, a "final solution" to the "Jewish question" was formulated. This plan produced the Holocaust in which 6 million Jews were murdered. At death camps, Jews were forced to labor until they had exhausted their strength. Those too old, young, or feeble to work were killed in specially built gas chambers; their bodies were then cremated. ___The systematic mass murders began in 1941. One can take the Holocaust back to the Kristallnacht, but most historians confine to the "Final Solution". (Until mid 1941 Jews were able to leave Germany and Nazi occupied territory, if they could find somewhere to go to).1. Regular mass gassings started at Chelmno on 8 December 1941. 2. The Wannsee Conference, which co-ordinated the various agencies involved in the Holocaust - the SS, the German railways, the ordinary police, etc. - took place on 20 January 1942.

No, the Holocaust ended in 1945.

He was 17 when the Holocaust ended.
He started his second term on 20 January 1997 and it ended on 20 January 2001.
It did not end any place. When the camps and territories were liberated, the Holocaust ended there, when Germany surrendered it ended in the last places.
