Hitler had three main steps to power.
The first was his moves to become head of the Nationalist Socialist (NAZI) Party of Germany following his return from WWI. Once he had actually found the party with which he so identified, he was able to become the head of it within a year.
The second move was to take over the existing German government, called the Wiemar Republic after what was then the capital city. He did this through a series of tricky moves. First, he managed to get his party a majority in the version of US Congress that the Germans had at that point. Once his party had that position, he was supposed to become the emperor's chancellor, but he refused that position, causing a crisis. When the emperor asked him again to become the chancellor, Hitler said that he would only take the job if the emperor stepped down. Seeing the righting on the wall, the emperor stepped down from his position in 1933, the same year that US President FDR was inaugurated, although it was a decade before they clashed.
The third and last move that Hitler did to get his power was to build the military. This was illegal according to the Versailles Treaty, which had ended WWI. However, because everyone remembered the Horror of that war, no one condemned Hitler for it, for fear of sparking another. It was during this time that Hitler and his puppet Mussolini of Italy began their revolution in Spain. Although they had little political interest there, they were able to use that war to hone their battle tactics.
After this war, Hitler felt ready to begin his conquest of the world for his German Reich, which he claimed would last a thousand years. It lasted only twelve.
Probably until he gain power then he had people do it for him
The economic conditions in Germany during Hitler's rise to power was very poor. The country was suffering from high unemployment and the burden of the reparations it was to be paying to the Allied forces of World War I.
Hitler used several methods to stay in power including fear, propaganda, and pride. Much of the country, especially the military, where quickly drawn into the false hope of a Utopian society.
This is clearly a homework question that you need to answer. Time to open the book or use your notes from class.

Through the use of propaganda. Books, film, television, radio and other forms of media were poisoned with Hitler's ultimate vision and plan to rid Germany of Jews. Basically, he instilled fear by spreading lies and so the people were scared and believed him.
Hitler began his rise to power when he joined the German Workers' Party in 1919, which later changed its name to the National Socialist German Workers' Party. Over time he utilized his natural talents for public speaking to seize leadership of the party. As he spread his message throughout Germany, he cracked down on opposing parties, sometimes violently. By 1933 he was Chancellor and had provoked many Germans into a nationalist frenzy. There was no opposition to his use of the Enabling Act of 1933 to secure his position as dictator.
