Well as you know that there were several allinaces inside Europe with the triple alliance between Germany Italy and Austria-Hungary and the alliances between France and Germany. when the Germans started the schliffen plan they took over belgium which in turn Britain came into the frame the Americans soon came and canadiens which deserve a honourable mention as when troops ran away from gas they bravely sacrificede themselves. In the end Germany was surrounded when Italy stopped there alliance with them and soon were outnumbered.
