A possible candidate is Harold Shipman, the British Doctor Who murdered 215-250 of his patients. If we go by numbers of victims Christman Gniperdoliga killed 964 men between the years 1568-1581 after robbing them in the Roman Empire area

It was Harold shipman. A doctor by profession, he is among the most prolific serial killers in recorded history with 218 murders being positively ascribed to him, although the actual number is likely much higher.

Adolf Hitler killed the most people ever

He killed just over 6,000,000 people in the Holocost

--------------

Simo Hayha. Finnish soldier during WWII. killed 705 soviet in just 100 days with a bolt action rifle with no scope and a submachine gun. Was nicknamed "White Death" by the soviets due to his snow camuflauge. he has the most confirmed kills by any soldier in any major war.

----------------------------------------------

Hitler is probably third. Mao and Stalin are respectively first and second, probably.

If you are talking about trigger pullers as the second answer does, my vote is for The 393d Bombardment Squadron B-29 Enola Gay, piloted and commanded by 509th Composite Group commander Colonel Paul Tibbets, was launched from North Field airbase on Tinian in the West Pacific, about six hours flight time from Japan. The Enola Gay (named after Colonel Tibbets' mother) was accompanied by two other B29s. The Great Artiste, commanded byMajor Charles W. Sweeney, carried instrumentation; and a then-nameless aircraft later called Necessary Evil (the Photography aircraft) was commanded by Captain George Marquardt.[21]

After leaving Tinian the aircraft made their way separately to Iwo Jima where they rendezvoused at 2,440 meters (8,000 ft) and set course for Japan. The aircraft arrived over the target in clear visibility at 9,855 meters (32,330 ft). During the journey, Navy Captain William Parsons had armed the bomb, which had been left unarmed to minimize the risks during takeoff. His assistant, 2nd Lt. Morris Jeppson, removed the safety devices 30 minutes before reaching the target area.[22]

The bombs killed as many as 140,000 people in Hiroshima and 80,000 in Nagasaki by the end of 1945,[4]with roughly half of those deaths occurring on the days of the bombings. Amongst these, 15--20% died from injuries or the combined effects of flash burns, trauma, and radiation burns, compounded by illness, malnutrition and radiation sickness.[5] Since then, more have died from leukemia (231 observed) and solidcancers (334 observed) attributed to exposure to radiation released by the bombs.[6] In both cities, most of the dead were civilians.[7][8][9]

I think Stalin might have a higher number then Hitler. He was responsible for countless deaths. Hitler was bad, but with Stalin we still don't know how many he was responsible for.

It depends on who you're calling a "murderer".

If you're strictly referring to serial killers, Jack the Ripper tops the list, as his body-count is believed to be in the hundreds and he was never discovered.

However, if you're referring to genocidal leaders, Mao Zedong and Joseph Stalin are responsible for the deaths of millions (more than Hitler).

Adolf Hitler may come in third.

Short answer Mao

It's complicated because its for historians to work out exact numbers but I worked out if you include all deaths in WW2 then Hitler stands at 70-85 million from WW2 including the Holocaust. Mao Zedong is estimated to be a similar figure (around 78) however numbers for him vary wildly because of politics now and at the time and because of the nature of deaths from a famine. Stalin is much lower with values given not exceeding 60 million. So officially it's a draw between Mao and Hitler, however if one needs to win I would say Mao because while his estimates are a few million lower the inaccuracies are likely to make it higher.

Bonus fact Hitler supposedly killed no-one personally.
