Some of the concentration camp guards had dogs that they unleashed on prisoners. This seems to have been particularly common at the Auschwitz Women's Camp. Some of the German Shepard dogs were trained to rip, gnarl and drag humans. Many of the Holocaust survivors witness the horrific act. Juana Bormann was a SS prison guard who was known to use dogs.

∙ 12y agoGerman shepherds or Police dogs, were widely used by the German Police and related agencies ( such as the Waffen-SS, the Feldpolizei units ( akin to beat cops in occupied territories- called Feldgendarmerie in France0 Armed forces and so on. The opposite number- the other side, the Soviet Union, used Huskies for most defense , mine detection and other police and military tasks. So the Germans used Shepherds some in the Waffen SS, while the K.G. Beasts were mainly Huskies!
