During World War 2 the British Airforce went through drastic changes but its name stayed the same and is still the same today, earlier the airforce was an army organization, lending blue uniforms to the Russians in their revolution the airforce had green, when the revolution finished the uniforms were sent back and so the airforce started to produce and wear blue uniforms, The name Was the R.A.F the Royal Air Force.
