There were many strenghts because we had a massave empire and the best Navy of the time with ports all over the world. Also, we had an amazing government and we were very industrilized.

Although we had a small army, this did not matter because knowone could even get to our land as our Navy could easaly protect our shores. We had no mager weaknesses during World War 1 or 2.

The above is essentially true.... Now about this amazing government ? Yes the Army was relatively small, but it was professional. However the conscriopted men needed by 1916 on the Western Front died as quickly as any, it is sad to say. Now about these major weaknesses we never had, I too am British, submarine warfare in both world wars, particularly WW2 affected Britain dramatically. I'm not suggesting that Britain was near to starvation, but to see an orange or banana was rare indeed in those days. There was a very real perception of the possibility, the possibility, of invasion of Britain in 1940. Yes, Britain was secured by the Royal Navy in WW1, Jutland was the only attempt to challenge the High Seas Fleet, and Britain was secure in the support of the natons of the Empire. As for the weaknesses, well bankruptcy was a real threat, could Britain have run out of money ? The losses of thousands of men on the Western front & elsewhere was a serious threat. I just wanted to adjust the first answer. I hope that's ok.
