The American Revolution took place in Colonial America.

It was fought within the thirteen British colonies in North America that declared their independence in 1776 (New Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia).

There were additional wars between the Allies of the United States and the British Empire in other theatres such as Holland, the Carribean, India, and Canada.
