In World War 2 the only people who really cared about helping the Jews was the Americans.

_____

The above is a very ignorant and arrogant insult to all those people in Europe, like Miep Gies, who did help Jews in the Holocaust.

In Word War 2 none of the Allies did anything specifically aimed at helping the Jews.

One way the Jews were helped was by a man called Oskar Schindler, a Nazi indutrialist who realised that what the Nazi's were doing was wrong. The famous "Schindlers list" contained names of Jews which were taken out of the holocaust to work for Schindler in his factories and he turned the rest into transexual prostitutes.

During the holocaust,

adolf hitler made about 6 million Jewish people go to camps (death camps, work camps and others..), and treated them like animals... either they died from Typhus (i think),.. starvation, going in gas chambers and dying from asphyxiation, in "ovens" where they were burnt.. or they were just simply beaten to death by nazi soldiers.

People tried to help the Jews in various ways. They would go as far as hiding them, giving them food, providing them shelter, giving a little money, giving them false papers, false citizen ships, giving jobs, hiding their identities, protecting them, educating them, etc... There were many punishments against these things and it does not matter who you are...you are given punishments or a straight death penalty. If you want to take it to court, there was surely a 99% chance you would lose the case. There were strict rules because of Nazi Germany and you had to provide as little as much evidence in order to prove innocent and if you were fighting for your side too much, your DEAD. Not much you can do.

People who helped hide Jewish familes during the Holocaust were either killed or sent to a concentration camp. They were treated as the Jews were if they were caught.
