Germany, it was the Heinkel He-280. It's first flight was on September 22 1940 but it was later cancelled in favour of the Messerschmitt Me-262
Messerschmitt was the name of the company. They made aircraft during WWII - the Bf 109 and the Me 262 are the most prominent - and supplied them to the Luftwaffe over the course of the war. So the correct answer should be from the beginning of WWII to the end - Sep. 1st, 1939 until May 8th, 1945.
The only Jet plane made in world war II was a messerschmitt Me 262. -> No. There were the jetbomber Arado Ar 234, Heinkel He 178 (first flight ever), Heinkel He 162 and 280, Junkers Ju 287, Messerschmitt Me 163, etc, etc, etc, etc. Not all of them really performed missions, as war ended... but quite a few more than just the Me 262. But I couldn't find any indications of production prizes.
