The British won the French and Indian war.
The Battle of Quebec was the last battle in the French and Indian War. Because the British won this battle, they won the war. Quebec was an important fort for the French, therefore it probably had a lot of supplies in it, which the British now had. Also, the French used the Saint Lawrence River a lot for trade and shipping. That river, which was below Quebec and Montreal, was now in England's control. This would have been a serious blow to the French.

..Answering my own question here.. The British won the Boar War in 1902
The First Boer War began in December, 1880, and ended in March, 1981. The British abolishment of slavery led to more Boers seeking to loosen their ties to Britain. An unshared heritage between the Boers and Great Britain led to hostilities that resulted in war.
The British, who were aided by some native tribes and their colonists, won against the French and their native allies.
