Daimler-Benz built the most panzers for the German Army in WW2, while Chrysler was the prime contractor on the Sherman. Nowadays the two have teamed up to form Daimler-Chrysler for peaceful purposes. Fiat, Baretta, Daihatsu, and Mitsubishi are other examples of Axis contractors which survived the political regimes they once served.
