Children were mostly killed by being sent directly to the gas chambers. Or children in their teens would work alongside the adults and die of starvation or fatigue. The worst method ever was medical experiments on children especially twins. They would cut them open stitch them up and let them die of infections and they would kill babies also.

An eyewitness account of Treblinka camp explains that women were shaved to the skin as soon as they arrived:
"Because the little children at their mothers' breasts were a great nuisance during the shaving, the children were taken from their mothers as soon as they got off the train. The children were taken to an enormous ditch, they were shot and thrown into the fire. No one bothered to see if they were really dead. Sometimes one could hear infants wailing in the fire. If mothers managed to keep their babies with them, a guard took the baby by its legs and smashed it against the wall until only a bloody mess remained in his hands. the mother then had to take this mass with her to the 'showers'."

Babies were subject to the same abuse that adults were, arguably more.
