There were two groups of teams:
Axis: Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bosnia (Who Hated it), Bulgaria and Turkey.
Allies: British Empire (Australia, India, New Zealand, Canada and parts of Africa), France, Belgium, Russia, Serbia (Who Caused the First World War Via the "Black Hand Gang") and Britain.
USA and Switzerland came in much later, USA for the Allies, I'm not sure about Switzerland.
There were two groups fighting in World War I - the Axis and the Allies. The Axis consisted of Germany, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire (Turkey), and Bulgaria.
World war 1 ended because the Germans surrended to the Allies
Allied punishments weakened the German Economy after World War 1, while Allies helped revive the German economy after World War 2.
The US joined the war on the side of the Allies on April 6, 1917.

No, the Axis powers were not involved in World War I; they were part of World War II. In World War I, the main opposing alliances were the Allies, which included countries like France, the United Kingdom, Russia, and later the United States, and the Central Powers, which included Germany, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire, and Bulgaria. The Axis powers, consisting primarily of Germany, Italy, and Japan, emerged during World War II.
