I have found that Native Americans are viewed VERY positive in todays society, but you have good Indians and you have bad Indians, just like all races their are good and bad. Those viewed badly are usually for legitimate reasons, even though the cultures are different in races I have found that people are people and do not differ all that much in how they act because we all belong to the human race so we all act like individual personalities. The United States government has made great efforts to try to save the Native American but sometimes lacks oversight in making sure programs are properly funded and work, but I have found this holds true to most government programs for all Americans.David, Member of The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi
