The battle of Saratoga, NY caused the surrender of the British Army to American General Horatio Gates, and lead France to enter the Revolutionary war on the American side Feb 1778.
The Americans.
After their victory at Yorktown.
Most Americans were stunned
The first victory for the Colonialists was in Concord, Massachusetts at the start of the war. It was here that the Colonies formed up regulars to fight against the British on their march from Lexington. They eventually pushed the British back to the safety of Charlestown which would later lead to the siege of Boston.
The Americans.
George Washington
because they do be vibeing tho
Since the Americans won that battle that means that they are proud that they are winning and want to keep trying hard and try to surprise the British when they come again and it worked and they want a free country!
The victory at Trenton, followed by that at Princeton, restored the morale of the Americans, bore the capture of some 918 Hessian's at Trenton and about 400 British at Princeton and make the British to give up further military action for that year. Last but not least, following those victories, the Congress returned to Philadelphia from Baltimore.

It affected the Americans because the Green Mountain Boys stole cannons from the British and brought them back to George Washington. Washington thought of the idea to put the cannons on a hill that faced Boston. Once the British saw the cannons on top of the hill they immediately retreated Boston.
