Many schools celebrate this wonderful event of history by taking the time from their busy schedule to think about how much these black people of history changed the present day century and how they will continue to help the world. I mean look at present day elections. Two new things happening..... a black male is running for president and is actually doing a fabulous job as far as caucus's go... and a female running for president that also has a great chance of winning as well!!!!! And to think that it was people like Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. that helped do this way before they even knew it was cumming. Look at our world today, and imagine, very seriously, how it would be without so many black heroes there to help us!!!!! A world of disaster, hurt, war, hunger, slavery, and so many more things..... STOP AND APPRECIATE IT!!!!!

There are many ways people celebrate Black History Month. For instance, during the month of February, some museums offer special exhibits depicting art created by, or inspired by the lives of African Americans.
