Lincoln never attended school, or any sort of university. He was entirely self-taught, but was as educated as anyone else from that period of time. He also taught himself law, and practised as a lawyer.

He only went to school for 18 months, but he learned as he read books.

Abraham Lincoln was mostly self-educated, reading by himself any books he came across. He however also received an estimated 18 months of teaching at blab schools and was home-schooled by his cousin Dennis Hanks early on.

He didn't go to school. His step mother taught him to read, and his father didn't see any need for him to go to school. He was a tall strong boy who was sent to work for the surrounding farms. It was legal for his father to collect and keep his earnings until he was 21.

In addition to being a lawyer in life, Abraham Lincoln was a store clerk, a member of the militia, a post master, and a boatman. He was never a teacher.

Yes! When he was young like 8 or so, He wrote with chalk on the back of his fathers fire shovel and wiped it off and soon he learned everything on a shovel instead of paper.
