Southern colonies
the population of the English colonies grew dramatically in 1700s because the number of Europeans living in the colonies rose from about 250,000 in 1700 to 2.5 million in 1775---a tenfold increase.
Middle Colonies
The four social classes in the Spanish colonies were peninsulares, creoles, mestizos, and Indians.
Diversity in the Northern colonies arose from the mixture of immigrants from different countries in Europe. Much of the diversity remained because of the nature of tolerance in these colonies.
Society in the Middle colonies was very liberated.
Southern colonies
In Arawak society, one of the greatest crimes was to violate the community's rules and disrupt the harmony of the tribe. This could include acts of betrayal, theft, or violence that undermined the cohesion and well-being of the group. Such actions were seen as serious offenses that could lead to social ostracism or other forms of punishment.
The type of society that has the greatest energy needs is the industrialized society, like the European nations.

The southern colonies society was mainly made up of slaves. These colonies had been established Great Britain with the rich people owning vast lands which they used as plantations where slaves worked.
English colonies were established in large part to remove dissident English families from such close proximity to their oppressors in England. They did not find much mineral wealth and instead settled the land and raised English type families and established an English society and did not live near "inferior" natives. Spain, and to a lessor extent, France came to the new world to rape their colonies of all things of immediate value. Any attempt to settle and work the land was, for the most part, secondary and the Europeans were generally in the minority in these colonies and employed the natives as serfs.
