Being given the right to vote was the first goal. Decades later, allowing women to have the choice whether or not to have an abortion. The other major issue was advocating equal pay for equal work and the Equal Rights Amendment. The last issue is just as relevant today as it was over 30 years ago. Women still lag behind men when it comes to salary.
