a long-running pattern of whites removing Native Americans from their land, their lifestyle, and killing them.
Approximately 2000 Thanks for listening to my great answer, but it is true because i read in history class in the history book x 2k9 (2009)
One main reason that Native Americans were being so rapidly conquered was that the they had not built up any immunities to the diseases that the European settlers had brought with them. These diseases spread wildly and killed many native populations very quickly. Another factor was that most Native American tribes did not believe that land could be owned privately, as in their cultures they had always shared the land as a community resource.
Yes, they did. The native North Americans had many wars with other tribes and the European settlers in the later part of their breif history. In total, there were 40 American Indian/European wars.
They ARE native to America. Every group migrated from Africa, but the first ones to the area become native to that area._______________________________________The answer to the question: Why are Native Americans NOT native to America is: Because they immigrated from Asia. Like all American's they traveled to North America from elsewhere. You cannot prove a negative, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Without evidence, and or theory to the contrary it is assumed that the facts supporting that "Native Americans" are native to America is true. Native Americans have proof of at least 10,000 years of existence in the same place as they are now. Human history dates back approximately 8,000 years, as a measure of reference.
The Indians gave the europeans thingsTo expand on that answer:Native Americans were given paper promises by the US (and Canadian) governments, when these governments violated those promises the Native Americans expected to get their lands back; that is what got them labled "Indian Givers."Please also note the term "Indian Givers" is derogatory and could get you in trouble if used in real life, and or with the right people.
Immigration has had a major effect on the United States. Other than the Native Americans that were on the continent when Columbus arrived, everyone has immigrants in their history.
The native Americans lived in the area now called Missouri for thousands of years before the Europeans arrived. consequently, the name of the first person to see that region is lost to history.
Because the Conquistadors brought the first modern horses to America. The horses that were native to the Americas were extinct by the time Europeans got here.
He lead a group of Vikings, who became the first Europeans to land in America.
because they hated over-generalizing people like all Americans are.

Part of the answer is due to technologies ... ... also, the Americans thought more in terms of "north south" and Europeans in terms of "east west" ... so there was a conceptual difference. Suggest that you see Peter Watson's "Ideas: A History from Fire to Freud" Chapter 20 ...
It's important because it is Black History month! This whole month is dedicated to celebrating the achievements of black Americans and the importance of African Americans in our history.
Why was America looked for?The reason Columbus came to America was actually to fins a shortut to Asia for trading. He was one of the few to beleive the world was round but didn't know, like the rest of the world at that time, that America was in between Europe and Asia. So, the DISCOVERY of America was a mistake! This is the origin of the politically incorrect term for Native Americans, "Indians"- Columbus thought he was in India! Why did the Europeans continue to explore America? But, why did Europeans keep coming to America? The Three Gs- God (to spread their religion to the "Indians"), Glory (To make their mark in history for themselves and their countries), and Gold (Gold was known to be in high amounts in America, an unmined land).
He led a group of Vikings, who became the first Europeans to land in North America.
