Some say that Simon of Cyrene was Black, some say that he was White, some say he was Greek, some say that he was a Jew. I say that it is stupid to be concerned about his race. Some say that Jesus, was white, a Jew, Black and probably something else. I believe that God is smart enough to have made it clear to us if it had been important. When was Jesus born, December 25? We humans waste so much time worrying about race and trying to exalt one above the other.
I recently saw some wild and domestic ducks swimming at a resort. Most of the ducks were of mixed colors, three were snow white, and some were dark shades--brown, black, gray, . . . . They were swimming peacefully and waiting for bread crumbs that a few small children were tossing into the water. On the banks were blacks sitting under a pavilion enjoying a family gathering. About 50 yards away was an Asian woman and her two young children having a picnic. Farther away nearer the water was a young white couple lying on the man-made "beach," apparently getting a tan. Farther out on the water were a few whites jet skiing. I remember the time when there were segregated portions of this water source. It is a reservoir that covers portions of three counties. Blacks and whites once had their own sides identified by counties.
I was driving in the country and noticed a farm. The animals of various colors shared the same pasture and farmyard. When animals of a specific group wanted to be alone, they would without a problem. I am moving on to animals of the same species. Black cows, white cows, brown cows, mixed colors; sheep, chickens, goats, horses, and many other animals of the same color variety existed in the same pasture.
I do not believe that pheasants and chickens should be put in a position that forces them to mate. I do not believe that horses and zebras should, nor lions and tigers. I do not believe that people and animals should mate, although some do (bestiality). What about different races of people? I do not believe that they should feel forced to couple nor should anyone put them in positions that would make it likely for them to do so. Because the different races of people are not separate species, they should decide for themselves if they want to date and marry other races. On the other hand, there is certainly not one thing wrong with preferring ones own race. People should not be pressured or criticized for mixing or staying within the borders of their own race, which may be the better choice considering the stupidity of most of societies.

Simon of Cyrene was the man who helped Jesus carry his cross.
And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
Matthew 27:32 tells us that a man of Cyrene, Simon by name helped Jesus carry the cross to Calvary.
Simon of Cyrene is thought to be black. He carried Jesus' cross.
Simon from Cyrene (Matt. 27:32; Mark 15:21). Little is known of Simon. Many Bible scholars believe that he was likely a Jew who was celebrating the Passover in Jerusalem. He had two sons, Alexander and Rufus. Cyrene was an important city in North Africa, where Libya is located today. Cyrene had a large Jewish population.
Nowhere. Simon of Cyrene was compelled to carry Jesus' cross, and some people suppose him to be black.
I can find little information about the topic but, apparently, Simon of Cyrene is considered a saint. There are a number of Catholic and Episcopal churches named for him. Possibly the first 'black' saint.
The man who was compelled to bear the cross of Jesus by the Romans was called Simon, of Cyrene[Matthew 27:32]. Cyrene was, and possibly still is, a town in Libya where at the time a large Jewish settlement existed. Jews from this area were in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost[Acts 2:10]. There appears to be no hard evidence to say what the colour of Simon's skin was. Wikipedia has a comprehensive write up about the story.>
We have no certain information on that. The man is named as Simon, of Cyrene. Cyrene could have referred to a settlement in Lybia - but there was a large Jewish contingent there, so Simon could have been Jewish, Arab, or black. No one alive now can say for certain and anyone who claims to be able to is either lying or getting vision from God - you decide.
There is no historical record indicating that Simon of Cyrene died in the same place as Jesus. Simon of Cyrene is known for helping Jesus carry the cross to Golgotha, but there is no further mention of him in relation to Jesus' crucifixion.
