Annapolis, Maryland is home to one of the world's most premier and desired colleges in the world. Created in 1845 by the United States Navy to train and school future Naval officers, the United States Naval Academy is today recognized as one of the most honorable colleges to attend. Being in 8th grade, I am planning on attending the Naval Academy. Less than 3,000 of 12,000 people get in every year, so if you plan to attend get your grades up high! My Naval recruit officer has given me several books about the Academy, and if you ever need more information just comment on this answer.
