The known location of ancient Egypt is Africa. It is left from the Red Rea, below the Mediterranean and right from the Nile river. The Egyptians never went onto the left side of the Nile because they thought that that was the side of the dead

The geography of ancient Egypt included deserts, river basins, and mountain areas. The Canal of the Pharaohs and the Jordan river watershed are two very large geographical features of ancient Egypt.

Ancient Egypt is most commonly known for being a desert. However; not all of Egypt was a dust bowl thanks to the Nile river. every year, its banks flooded, spilling fertile silt onto the farmland and enabling agriculture to be a main supporter of ancient Egypt's economy. This existence of farmland means that not all of Egypt was composed of sand dunes and dust, but also of flatlands and large hills.

The ancient Egyptian Civilization was centered along the Nile River in the modern country of Egypt. It extended south from the Nile Delta for about 500 miles ...

However, it's zone of influence extended into the Sudan to the South, West into the Libyan desert and East into the Arabian Peninsula.

Ancient Egypt was a civilization of ancient North Africa, concentrated along the lower reaches of the Nile River, situated in the place that is now the country Egypt. Ancient Egyptian civilization followed prehistoric Egypt and coalesced around 3100 BC (according to conventional Egyptian chronology) with the political unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under Menes (often identified with Narmer).
