The Creeks (Muscogee), like all native Americans, display a wide range of facial features. Faces can be round or long and thin, noses can be long, straight and sharp or small and quite wide. Skin is normally a darkish tan but it can be much paler.
One feature seen even in early portraits of the Creeks is that many did not remove their eyebrows - at least not during the 19th century - as most other native Americans did.

In general conversation, the term facial features is more appropriate to use. Facial lineaments is a term usually used in poetic script or literature, and refers to a distinctive characteristic of the face; however, it is not commonly used in vocal conversation.---Do not use "facial lineaments." The word "lineaments" all by itself means "facial features."
