They displaced and evicted them from their land, killed them intentionally and unintentionally with disease, fought "wars" with them that were one-sided up until the mid-1800s, forced them into oppressive physical labor, tried to strip their culture from them through "Americanizing Schools", and subjected them to racism and discrimination in American Society.
