The Karankawas used long bows very often to hunt.They used these because when shooting something underwater the bow needed to be powerful and the arrow needed to be long so the arrow would go through the water and stick out, which makes it easier to retrieve the arrow.

They ate Acorns, fish, deer, bear, grains, and beans. Most are vegetarians. They also live in villages or tribes. They have cowhide clothes and wolf hats to hunt.
