Oh, dude, the native Americans didn't exactly have a gift shop of diseases to pass around to the Europeans. It was more like a unintentional exchange program where they unknowingly shared illnesses like smallpox, measles, and influenza. So, yeah, the Europeans got a few unexpected souvenirs from their travels.
I believe Europeans are the ones that gave diseases to the Natives, Not the other way around.
<different user> The Europeans gave the Native Americans disease, but the Natives also gave the Europeans knowledge on how to survive in the wild I think, correct if I'm wrong, please!!!
I suggest you check out syphilis and the Native American. Both gave their own version of biota to each other.
Americans took Native American lands away from them and forced them to move west to the worst lands. They took Native American children away from their parents and put them in schools taking away the Native American languages and culture. They gave them blankets infected with small pox which killed thousands.
This question is Biological in nature, but can be simplified to fit the historical context. Basically, if you isolate two populations, they will adapt to their different environments. The environment in Europe differed than that of the Americas; therefore, Europeans adapted in a different manner than American Indians. One of the adaptions stems from the proliferation of various diseases in crowded cities and close proximity to animals (part of the reason the Black Plague was so disastrous). Because of the number of novel diseases in Europe, Europeans had built certain immunities. The immune systems of American Indians, however, were not familiar with the diseases found in Europe. When introduced to the common cold or influenza, the American Indians could not fight them off. Many millions of native peoples in the Americas died as a result.
It introduced deadly new diseases to native communities. (july 20222) Apex
The Native Americans didn't really have a choice. They were forced (most of them). Many were killed when they refused to give up their traditional beliefs.
because the white folks, (English, Columbus all they wanted was gold and eventually the native Americans ran out of gold, and said that they didn't have anymore. but the English demanded more and the native Americans couldn't give them anymore. so the English started to kill more native Americans
idont know.
The Native Americans actually did give the Europeans a few diseases however they are debatable. One of the diseases that Europeans contracted on their way to the New World and at the new world was typhus. Another disease that affected the people coming to the New World was syphilis, now see this is the debatable disease because many believe that It was contracted by Hispaniola but it could still be considered something that was given to the people who came to the New World. Now I do not believe the Europeans got this disease but the Spaniards did.
They treated them like crap, and didn't give a care for them. The Europeans just wanted land. No offense to Europeans! :D
The Native Americans gave the Europeans new items to keep, and they sent those to Europe, while Europe sent goods to the Americas to give to the Native Americans.
gold and like important stuff which the Indians thought would help there friendship.
The native Americans gave the Europeans everything they had, their land, their culture, their livelihood, and their very lives. Well, they didn't exactly give it, the Europeans took what they wanted and destroyed what they didn't value. The Europeans took the land and its resources for their own purposes. The native Americans can still give us many things to make our modern lives better. The natives know how to live in harmony with nature without using it up; they know how to use nature to obtain what they need and leave the rest for those who follow. It's time we accepted this gift from the Native people.

The plains NATIVE AMERICANS did not randomly attack. The settlers were not innocent. The settlers attacked Native Americans also which is why Native Americans fought back. The Europeans who came forced Native Americans onto reservations and raped/tortured them. They also forced Native American young to go to boarding schools to get rid of Native American cultures and languages.
Native Americans gave up much of their land in Ohio.
The Darks.
It is still a work in progress. Europeans didn't arrive until 500 years ago, and at that point all Americans were considered to be heathens and savages. We have learned a few lessons from that invasion, some good and some bad. Give us a couple more years to learn the system.
