A general from Mexcio sent by President Guadalupe Victoria to investiagat Texas in the 1829ish his recommendations made the law of April 6th 1830. the law made the u.s. to Texas Immigration illegal, suspended empasario contracts and it made tariffs (taxes) on u.s. goods. also slavery was abolished. hope this helps!
